1.5 metre wall
1.5 m is the boundary-marking height: it blocks the view of someone walking past, not of someone on a balcony. It is built with three courses of 500 mm panel and a 2200 mm post, from 33 €/unit. It is the cheapest height per metre of wall and the one that weighs least visually on a large plot.

The courses are independent and slot into the grooves in the posts. The post is concreted into a hole measuring 300 × 300 × 800 mm, with 800 mm buried — the minimum is 700 mm — and it is that burial depth that gives the whole segment its wind resistance. On sloping ground the wall follows the level in panel steps.

When this height is the right one
It makes sense if…
- mark out a plot without closing it visually;
- separate back gardens between neighbours;
- areas where the municipality limits the height of a wall;
- plots with a view you do not want to lose;
- quotes where every metre counts.
Choose another height if…
- the road is above the level of the plot;
- you want complete privacy at eye level;
- the aim is to cut traffic noise;
- there are neighbours in two-storey buildings.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the height along the wall?
Yes. Each 2 m segment is independent, so the wall can rise at the front and drop at the bottom of the plot. The post has to be the one for the maximum height of the section.
Do I need a licence for this height?
It depends on the municipality, the height, the position relative to the public road and the local PDM. Check with the municipal council of your municipality; if you need it, we provide the measurements and the drawing of the wall to support the application.
Does installation cost more on a taller wall?
Installation is charged by linear metre of wall — 59 to 79 €/linear m — and the work is in the holes and the posts, whose number depends on the length and not on the height. What goes up with height is the material.
And if the plot is on a slope?
The wall follows the level in panel steps. Intermediate heights are resolved by combining 500 mm courses with 300 mm courses.
